OPPORTUNITY
Stanley 1913 reached out to Elva to create a one-of-a-kind digital experience for the Barbie™ X Stanley Quencher collaboration. The global launch featured nine iconic Quenchers – eight featuring Barbie™ and one featuring Ken™ – celebrating empowerment and limitless possibilities. The Quenchers had staggered launch dates, which meant Stanley needed the ability to merchandise the site on their end to reflect the various product priorities and availability throughout launch week.
SOLUTION
Working closely with the Stanley team, Elva built a digital solution reflecting the essence of both brands, showcasing Barbie™ themes such as being true to yourself and embracing who you are. We crafted a clear customer experience on Shopify, guiding people through a week-long release schedule with multiple launch dates. The site captured lead generation for individual Barbie™ Quenchers leading up to the release dates, and our modular system enabled Stanley’s team to update the site throughout the launch.
Celebrating Decades of Empowerment
Barbie’s classic designs take center stage throughout our thoughtfully crafted Barbie™ x Stanley page, honoring authenticity and endless possibilities. Eight distinct Quenchers celebrate Barbie™ over the decades, from the ‘60s Twist ‘N Turn Barbie™ to the ‘80s Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie™.
BUILDING ENTHUSIASM
The site sparked excitement around the official Barbie™ x Stanley Quencher launches through product tiles with “Notify Me,” “Sold Out,” or “Now Live” messages, as well as upcoming product launch dates. Each Quencher included product details and an “Add to Cart” button if available to purchase.
Inspiring Around the World
Elva created a flexible Barbie™ x Stanley digital experience to accommodate several worldwide launches, building variations of the page for different release schedules and simple backend management for teams worldwide.
The end result drove excitement for the collaboration between these two iconic brands and celebrated Barbie™ themes of empowerment, possibility and authenticity.
