UNITING TWO DISTINCTIVE BRANDS AND FAN BASES IN ONE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE
SOLUTION
A COLLABORATIVE DESIGN PROCESS THAT UNCOVERED THE SHARED STRENGTHS OF BOTH BRANDS
GIVING THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT
WHEN STANLEY AND LAINEY WILSON APPROACHED US WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER ON A CUSTOM COLLABORATION, WE FELT BOTH INSPIRED AND CHALLENGED. THE DEVOTED FANS OF BOTH THE 100-YEAR OLD COMPANY AND THE MODERN COUNTRY SUPERSTAR WOULD BE WATCHING CLOSELY – AND EXPECTING SOMETHING UNIQUE. HOW COULD WE UNITE THE TWO IN ONE SETTING? FINDING SUCCESS WOULD MEAN CREATING A DIGITAL EXPERIENCE THAT REFLECTED THE RETRO CHARISMA OF LAINEY WILSON’S COUNTRY COOL, WHILE ALLOWING THE STANLEY H2.0 QUENCHER DRINKWARE TO TAKE CENTER STAGE.
FINDING SHARED STRENGTHS THROUGH COLLABORATION
IN OUR DISCOVERY PROCESS WITH THE STANLEY CREATIVE TEAM, WE LEARNED COMBINING THEIR WORLD-CLASS DRINKWARE TECH WITH A RICH TALENT AND PERSONALITY LIKE LAINEY WILSON WAS ALL ABOUT ATTENTION TO DETAIL WE FOUND WAYS TO WEAVE IN LAINEY’S ESSENCE THROUGH CAREFULLY CURATED VISUALS, TYPOGRAPHY, LINE WORK AND ANIMATION, WITHIN A STRUCTURE OF CLARITY AND TIMELESSNESS REFLECTIVE OF THE STANLEY BRAND. WITH THIS FOUNDATION, OUR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT TEAMS CREATED AN EXPERIENCE THAT EVOKED A DIGITAL BACKSTAGE PASS TO THIS ONE-OF-A-KIND COLLABORATION
A PLACE WHERE EVERY DETAIL SINGS
FROM THE LINE WORK ECHOING LAINEY’S SIGNATURE STYLE TO GOLD-FLECKED ANIMATIONS REFLECTING THE EXTERIOR SHEEN OF THE QUENCHER DRINKWARE, NO DETAIL WAS OVERLOOKED. THE END RESULT IS A DUET OF PERSONALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP WHERE EVERY DETAIL SINGS. MORE THAN A LANDING PAGE, THIS EXPERIENCE IS A CELEBRATION OF STYLE AND SUBSTANCE WITH A TOUCH OF SOUTHERN SWAGGER.
A SOLD OUT PERFORMANCE
WHILE WE KNEW HOW PASSIONATE THE LAINEY WILSON AND STANLEY FAN BASES WERE, WE COULDN’T ANTICIPATE HOW WILDLY SUCCESSFUL THIS PROJECT WOULD BE.
THE STANLEY X LAINEY WILSON PRODUCT LAUNCH SOLD OUT IN 28 MINUTES, WITH OVER 100,000 ACTIVE CARTS AND MORE THAN 200,000 HITS ON THE LANDING PAGE. WE HEARD A TON OF PRAISE ON THE DESIGN AS WELL.
THIS PROJECT IS A TESTAMENT TO THE ART OF COLLABORATION AND THE SATISFACTION THAT COMES FROM CRAFTING WORK WITH PARTNERS WHO INSPIRE US. LET’S DO AN ENCORE.
